Useful away from home

SkyView® Lite can work without Wi-Fi or a mobile data connection, which makes it practical for dark-sky locations, camping trips and other places with limited service. Night viewing options, including red or green filters, can reduce the effect of a bright screen while you are observing. As with other phone-based sky guides, accuracy depends on the device’s sensors and calibration, so nearby magnetic interference can affect where objects appear.
